Drop Off Procedures

  • FANTASTIC WEEK OF MORNING DROP OFF!! Let's keep it up and please note the following:

  • Please pull up along the orange cones as much as possible as this will allow more cars to drop off, as well, it is safer for the children.

  • Once they have pulled all the way forward and stopped that they to go ahead and let their students out and to not wait until a more convenient location to stop and unload.

  • Parents dropping off in Church lot (Vianney Hall parents) to please not let their students out of their cars until 7:30 since there is no teacher supervision between the buildings before 7:30 am and the doors are not open until 7:30 am.

  • Traffic barriers in gym lot are NOT a drop off area. Drop off areas are only in the Main School lot from Marian Way or Va Beach Blvd and the Church lot from Va Beach Blvd.

Report cards will be held at the end of each nine weeks period for any student failing to return materials and/or pay fines. Replacement costs are based on the cost of the item.

  • For each day library books are not returned, a fee of $1.00 per day will be charged, not to exceed the cost of the book.

Saint Gregory the Great Catholic School is AdvancED accredited and the Diocese of Richmond is AdvancED accredited as a school system.

AdvancED is the largest community of education professionals in the world. They are a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts rigorous, on-site external reviews of Pre-K-12 schools and school systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential. While their expertise is grounded in more than a hundred years of work in school accreditation, AdvancED is far from a typical accrediting agency. Their goal is not to certify that schools are good enough. Rather, their commitment is to help schools improve.
Combining the knowledge and expertise of a research institute, the skills of a management consulting firm and the passion of a grassroots movement for educational change, AdvancED serves as a trusted partner to 34,000 schools and school systems—employing more than four million educators and enrolling more than 20 million students—across the United States and 70 other nations.
